Job summary

Stonebridge Executive Search is seeking a Debt Advisory Manager for a dynamic team advising private equity and corporate clients on debt, capital structure, leverage finance and strategic financing options in the UK.

You will manage day-to-day transaction work, perform detailed financial modelling, assess debt options, and negotiate terms within SPAs and covenants while developing relationships with clients and lenders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (ideally 3+ years) in debt advisory, leverage finance, corporate finance or related field.
• ACA, ACCA or CFA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong financial modelling skills and confidence analysing complex financial data.
• Experience with debt instruments, covenants and SPA advisory.
• A track record of building strong relationships with clients and financial institutions.
• Good awareness of debt markets, financing options and regulatory frameworks.
• A strategic mindset and the ability to offer creative solutions to clients.
• A collaborative team player who will fit into a positive, dynamic environment and contribute to shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of transactions, including preparing information packs, IM's, SPA's and management presentations, financial analysis and client communications
• Conducting detailed financial analysis to assess debt options, evaluate financing options and make recommendations
• Preparing and presenting financial models, including business forecast analysis, scenario analysis and advise on covenant calculations
• Developing and maintain relationships with clients, lenders and other key stakeholders in your network
• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of debt transactions
• Staying informed on market trends, interest rates and matters effecting debt markets
• Negotiating commercial terms on debt structuring within term sheets and legal documentation.
