DN Colleges Group invites applications for a Vice Principal – Strategic Curriculum Projects to lead a portfolio of high-impact, time-limited curriculum projects. You will work with the Senior Leadership Team to translate strategic priorities into deliverable initiatives that improve learning and student experience.

This fixed-term role, ending 31 July 2027, requires willingness to travel across sites and to engage with governors and committees.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant and successful senior leadership experience within Further Education, skills, or a comparable educational environment.
• Proven experience of leading complex organisational projects, transformation programmes or change initiatives from concept through to implementation and evaluation.
• Demonstrable track record of improving curriculum quality, student outcomes, student experience and organisational performance.
• Excellent strategic leadership, analytical, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to secure engagement and deliver sustainable change across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a portfolio of strategic curriculum and student-focused projects from diagnosis through to implementation and evaluation.
• Contribute to the strategic leadership, direction and development of DN Colleges Group as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Use data, evidence and student insight to identify improvement opportunities and address organisational challenges.
• Establish effective governance, reporting and accountability arrangements for strategic projects.
• Work collaboratively with Vice Principals, Directors and senior leaders to deliver organisational priorities.
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement and evidence-informed decision-making across the organisation.
• Evaluate project outcomes and ensure successful initiatives are embedded into business-as-usual practice.
• Develop leadership capability by supporting colleagues to take ownership of sustainable improvements.
• Prepare reports, recommendations and presentations for senior leaders, governors and committees.
• Ensure equality, inclusion, safeguarding and student needs remain central to all projects and decision-making.
