Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc in the UK seeks an experienced Cost and Commercial Manager to take commercial responsibility for infrastructure and civil engineering projects with multiple subcontractors. You will provide strong commercial oversight to keep projects within budget and manage contractual exposure.

The role, based in our Bristol office with hybrid working, requires negotiating with subcontractors, establishing commercial strategies, and delivering accurate cost reports and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant commercial management experience within infrastructure, civil engineering or major construction projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors and work packages simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Take overall commercial and performance responsibility for multiple subcontract packages across infrastructure and civils projects.
• Maintain accurate cost reports and consolidated commercial reporting for the project.
• Lead and support subcontract negotiations to achieve best value and risk allocation.
