Job summary

Metro Bank is seeking a dedicated Corporate Banking professional to manage a portfolio of customers with a strong focus on delivering an AMAZEING experience. You will work with Directors and Managers to shape credit decisions, interpret financial data, and manage facilities through reviews and due diligence.

You will collaborate across risk, operations and regional teams to ensure compliant, profitable outcomes for clients and Metro Bank.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in Commercial or Corporate Banking.
• Strong relationship management with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
• Excellent credit underwriting and ability to interpret financial statements.
• Experience in credit writing and financial analysis for lending decisions.
• Understanding of commercial lending processes and risk management.
• Knowledge of Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support a portfolio of Corporate Banking customers and deliver excellent service.
• Collaborate with Directors and Managers to manage complex relationships.
• Gather and interpret financial data to support lending activities.
• Evaluate lending opportunities and prepare robust credit proposals.
• Manage customer facilities, reviews, covenant testing and due diligence.
• Work withCredit, Lending & Securities, Operations and Risk teams to achieve outcomes.
• Develop relationships with customers and intermediaries to grow the portfolio.
• Maintain integrity and uphold Metro Bank values in all interactions.
• Manage risk across Credit, Operational, Regulatory and Financial Crime domains.
