Job summary

Wood is hiring a Contracts Manager on a permanent basis to lead complex contract negotiations and provide strategic contractual guidance across a diverse portfolio. You will manage contract reviews, advise stakeholders, and drive best practice governance while minimising risk.

This role is open to remote working across the United Kingdom, with hybrid arrangements encouraged and a focus on delivering commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, or Business.
• Proven track record in contract review, drafting, and negotiation.
• Experience with JV, MOUs, bidding and consortium agreements.
• Understanding of contract terms, policies and governance.

Responsibilities

• Review contract qualifications to balance risk and remuneration.
• Provide guidance on client contracting strategies and terms.
• Lead contract management activities across the portfolio.
• Develop internal relationships to mitigate contract risk.
• Support successful delivery and avoid contractual issues.
