Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to join our Procurement and Commercial Team. You will manage procurement for major onshore projects, develop strategies, and negotiate main package contracts through to award and delivery.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and support cost forecasting and change management throughout development and delivery phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies for major packages.
• Proven ability to procure and manage main package contracts and governance papers.

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement and Commercial Manager with world-class procurement and commercial service.
• Lead procurement activities from strategy development to contract award and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Utilities Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2016 and Procurement Act 2023.
