Job summary

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is recruiting a Contract Compliance and Implementation Manager to lead procurement and contracting activity from Ayrshire Central Hospital. You will manage a large contract portfolio, run procurements from requirement to award, and report on suppliers and tenders.

The role requires degree level education, CIP S qualification, and strong leadership, data analysis, and change-management skills. Driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree Level or equivalent.
• Professional/Postgraduate qualification in Purchasing and Supplies, e.g. Diploma of C.I.P.S. or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience within the Procurement profession with diverse stakeholders.
• Able to evidence a successful track record in Procurement and change management.
• Evidence of good leadership skills.
• Significant experience with computerised supply chain systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead on procurement and contracting activity.
• Manage a large and varied contract portfolio.
• Undertake procurements from requirement identification to contract award.
• Analyse and report on products, suppliers, and tenders.
• Organise product trials, analyse use and savings opportunities.
• Improve service delivery through best practice in contracting and procurement.
