Job summary

Indegene is seeking a Manager - Consulting in the UK to own end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements, lead a team, and develop junior talent while ensuring the commercial health of engagements.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, shape delivery approaches, manage budgets and staffing, and expand the account network across global clients. Based in London, some travel to client sites worldwide is possible.

Qualifications

• Typically 5-8 years of experience in management consulting firm(s), life sciences consulting, or relevant strategy / transformation roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, technology, engineering or related field.
• Excellent business acumen in navigating complex client-side stakeholder communities, change management, and client impact orchestration.
• Deep understanding of the life science industry is strongly preferred. We are looking for individuals with experience working across commercial, medical, digital, customer experience, analytics, and / or operating model transformations.
• Proven track record of managing and expanding client relationships.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, critical thinking, presentation, and writing skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding work.
• You will be based in our UK office (London) and may visit clients around the world. (All candidates must be eligible to work in the relevant location)

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor to the client, addressing their business challenges and ensuring Indegene provides effective solutions
• Define and maintain the delivery approach: milestones, quality standards, risk owners, escalation paths
• Shape the commercial structure of the engagement — scoping, pricing logic, margin management
• Manage, coach and develop team members, providing ongoing direction and guidance
• Adapt communication style to align cross-functional teams and secure buy-in
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including day-to-day leads and senior decision makers, while expanding the account network over time
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and quality within the team
• Identify client opportunities and widen the account network

Education
