Job summary

Michael Page Technology is seeking a Consulting Engagement Manager to lead client engagements from mobilisation to delivery and closure. You will coordinate blended delivery teams, manage risks, budgets and stakeholder expectations to ensure high-quality outputs.

You will translate statements of work into concrete delivery plans, monitor progress, and drive actions to keep engagements on time and within budget. Strong client management and governance experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing consulting engagements or complex transformation programmes from mobilisation to closure.
• Strong delivery planning, governance, and risk/issue/dependency management.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, utilisation, and forecast profit margins.
• Ability to identify problems early and implement corrective actions.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary client teams and offshore/delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage engagements from mobilisation through delivery, client acceptance and closure.
• Turn statements of work into delivery plans with milestones, resources and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee programme plans, governance, reporting, risks, issues and change readiness.
• Lead actions to recover delivery when timelines or scope threaten success.
• Manage engagement budgets, costs, utilisation, WIP and margins.
• Handle scope changes with formal change control and cost/timescale assessment.
• Lead blended delivery teams including client staff, consultants and partners.
• Act as main client contact and manage senior stakeholders and escalations.
• Review client deliverables for accuracy and alignment with requirements.
• Support business change and capture lessons and value delivered.
