Job summary

University of Warwick is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for capital construction projects across the Estates portfolio, including new build, refurbishment and M&E works. You will manage spend, develop strategies, and ensure compliant audits, reporting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent professional experience with numeracy and literacy.
• Experience delivering cradle-to-grave procurement for construction projects (SQ/PQQ, ITT, evaluation, contract award).
• Strong category and supply chain management knowledge across works/estate spend.
• Understanding of NEC/JCT and public sector procurement regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor category and project procurement strategies to achieve savings and KPI targets (spend up to £10M p.a.).
• Plan, lead and award end-to-end procurement processes for capital construction and works-related projects.
• Lead negotiations to secure optimum contracts and manage supplier performance and risk.
• Engage stakeholders across Estates Office and other departments; promote best practice and training.
