Job summary

Turner & Townsend has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Manager to join our Newcastle Real Estate team, guiding clients and their professional teams on iconic projects across the Northeast.

You'll work with leading conservators, architects and engineers to ensure value for money, advising across qualitative and commercial perspectives on a day‑to‑day basis. Strong PQS/Cost Management background preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in cost management/quantity surveying.
• Professional qualification with RICS or equivalent preferred.
• Degree or HNC in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Assist feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
• Estimate and cost plan, produce and present final cost plan.
• Tendering and procurement management including pre-qualification.
• Manage post‑contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Valuations and cost checks on larger projects, timely reporting.
• Produce monthly post‑contract cost reports for the client.
• Negotiate final accounts and interface with client and consultants.
