National Trust is seeking a Senior National Conservator, Training & Development to lead development and delivery of collections care training, including salvage and hazards management.

You will build capability across 300+ properties, creating frameworks, resources and standards for safe, sustainable care across its estate.

This part-time role with hybrid working offers flexible site visits and national scope, reporting to the Head of Collections, Access, Conservation & Management.

Qualificações

• Hands-on collections care across multiple material types or historic interiors.
• Expert knowledge of preventive conservation, collections care, hazards management best practise and climate resilience.
• Proven experience in training programme management.
• Strategic leadership and programme management capabilities.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Strong people leader who creates a collaborative, inclusive environment where different perspectives are valued.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic leadership for integrated collections training programmes and develop frameworks, resources and learning opportunities.
• Coordinate communities of practice, evaluate programme effectiveness, manage budgets and resources.
• Lead a small specialist team and foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the organisation.
