The National Trust is seeking a National Collections Manager, Training & Standards to join the Collections Management and Care Development team on a 3-month fixed-term contract from Swindon. This role develops collections management practice, coordinates training, and supports the implementation of standards and guidance across the organisation.

• Degree-level qualification in a collections-related subject or significant equivalent experience.
• Experience of collections management within a museum, heritage or historic environment.
• Strong understanding of collections management standards, documentation and systems.
• Experience coordinating training programmes or professional development activity.
• Knowledge of programme or project management and delivering improvements.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience supporting standards, compliance or accreditation activities and driving continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the refresh of internal collections management and care resources with stakeholders to develop content and manage delivery.
• Liaise with external designers and internal team to produce templates and a style guide for content refresh.
• Deliver training sessions and follow-up support to embed use of new products and improve consistency.
• Update internal staff intranet pages and transfer content into a new structure.
• Progress Conservation Studio support for collections training and development of a new e-learning offer.
• Provide support for the existing National Collections Manager, Training & Standards in acting-up duties.
