Job summary

You’ll work with the AI2 Communications team and cross‑functional partners to explain the benefits of Google’s infrastructure to customers, partners and journalists.

The role requires storytelling, strong media relations, and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines, including crisis comms and executive briefings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in public relations and media relations with technology or infrastructure.
• Experience working on cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive the global external communications strategy for Google's infrastructure in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
• Develop, write, and edit compelling communications materials, including statements, pitches, and announcements.
• Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to key business partners.
• Cultivate media and partner relationships to drive awareness and accurate reporting about Google's global infrastructure.
• Manage crisis communications scenarios and address tough issues as they arise.
