Job summary

Girton College, University of Cambridge is seeking a Strategic Communications Lead to strengthen its reputation through strategic storytelling and external engagement. You will work with the Mistress and senior colleagues to deliver high-impact campaigns and institutional messaging across the College.

Reporting to the People & Culture Department, the role focuses on media relations and cross-channel delivery, while coordinating with the Digital Communications Lead to ensure coherent messaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead on media relations, institutional messaging, reputation management and high-profile communications campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Digital Communications Lead to ensure messages are delivered across the College's digital channels.
• Work with the Mistress, Head of College Office and stakeholders to develop strategic communications that support priorities.
• Engage external audiences and build meaningful relationships with external partners.
