Job summary

Ivy Learning Trust, a group of 16 primary schools in London area, is seeking a Head of Communications to lead the central communications and marketing function. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and involves shaping campaigns, content, digital engagement and media activity for the Trust and its schools.

The role is hybrid, with one day a week in the head office in North London and travel to schools. Flexible working arrangements are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Senior communications professional with a proven track record.
• Experience in education or non-profit sectors.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and media relations.
• Line management experience and ability to lead a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ivy's communications and marketing function.
• Develop and deliver strategies to raise the Trust's profile and reputation.
• Oversee content, campaigns, digital engagement and media activity.
• Manage a Marketing and Communications Officer and provide guidance.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
