Job summary

Millbank is recruiting a communications lead to guide stakeholder engagement across a nationally significant defence infrastructure programme in the UK. You will craft strategies, manage messaging, and collaborate with programme leadership to drive engagement and delivery.

You will organise workshops, develop materials, and monitor campaign effectiveness, supporting resilience and continuity across the programme team. Hybrid working with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in communications and stakeholder engagement roles.
• Experience developing and delivering communication and engagement plans.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the programme communications and stakeholder engagement strategy.
• Deliver effective communications across a broad range of stakeholder groups.
• Coordinate internal communications activities to support programme delivery.
• Organise and facilitate stakeholder workshops, engagement sessions and events.
• Support consultation and wider stakeholder engagement activities.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
• Develop communication materials including presentations, reports, newsletters and engagement content.
• Deliver communication campaigns aligned to programme objectives.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide communications support and advice to programme leadership teams.
• Support communications resilience and continuity across the wider programme team.
