Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Communications Manager in Glasgow to lead communications for a nationally significant defence infrastructure programme supporting the UK's submarine fleet. The role focuses on developing strategies, engaging key stakeholders and ensuring consistent messaging across project delivery.

You will work with programme leadership to coordinate engagement activities, deliver campaigns and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across multiple groups and locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and delivering communications and engagement plans.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and work with diverse groups.
• Experience organising workshops, meetings and events.
• Ability to prioritise across multiple workstreams in a complex project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the programme communications and stakeholder engagement strategy.
• Deliver effective communications across a broad range of stakeholder groups.
• Coordinate internal communications activities to support programme delivery.
• Organise and facilitate stakeholder workshops, engagement sessions and events.
• Support consultation and wider stakeholder engagement activities.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
• Develop communication materials including presentations, reports, newsletters and engagement content.
• Deliver communication campaigns aligned to programme objectives.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide communications support and advice to programme leadership teams.
• Support communications resilience and continuity across the wider programme team.
