Job summary

Arguile is seeking an experienced Head of Commercial to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of complex FM and project contracts, primarily supporting central government and public‑sector clients.

This senior role drives commercial performance, governance and risk, and leads the commercial function with senior stakeholders while embedding a data‑driven culture across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level commercial and contract management experience.
• Experience building and leading commercial teams.
• Degree or diploma in Law, Business, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, FM, Land or related field.
• Practical knowledge of UK commercial and contract law.
• Membership of a chartered professional institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic commercial leadership across FM and project contracts.
• Shape commercial strategy and support pricing decisions.
• Develop and manage commercial resources and teams.
• Build relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.
• Lead contract variations, changes and negotiations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial, contractual and financial risks.
• Monitor KPIs, governance and reporting across contracts.
