Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead contract controls and P&L performance across designated projects. You will ensure maximum efficiencies and strict governance adherence while collaborating with Technical, Project Management and Project Controls teams.

The role requires delivering monthly management accounts, audits, and financial reporting, with strong commercial awareness and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a similar role.
• Experience in fast paced work environment.
• Possess a finance degree or be working towards a recognised accounting qualification or have suitable relevant experience working in a similar Commercial or Financial role.
• Knowledge/previous use of SAP

Responsibilities

• Provide visibility on Contract Financial Performance including the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Carry out audits and review to assist with potential commercial improvements.
• Ensure suitable controls are in place in support of financial deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes and procedures related to the management of commercial aspects.
• Interface with Business Managers, Invoicing, Accounts, Procurement, Tendering.
• Collate all start-up information for jobs/phases.
• Report to senior management on-going financial performance of each job via monthly management accounts.
