Job summary

IT Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Financial Controller/Director to lead our finance function within a growing SME with international reach. You will work closely with the MD and senior leadership to steer budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.

You will oversee financial reporting, controls, and cash flow while driving commercial insight and process improvements to support ambitious growth plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience within an SME environment.
• Knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial controls.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance function.
• Produce monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Manage cash flow, financial reporting and KPI analysis.
• Support strategic decisions through commercial finance and profitability analysis.
• Improve financial systems, controls and reporting.
• Oversee payroll, credit control, VAT, compliance and year-end processes.
• Partner with sales, operations and production teams to support business growth.
