Job summary

FryerMiles is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to join Reading, Berkshire on a hybrid basis. You will provide financial and commercial insight to support performance and drive efficiency, reporting to the Finance Manager.

You will analyse performance, monitor overheads, identify cost-saving opportunities and deliver data-driven recommendations. You will work with finance colleagues and stakeholders to translate complex numbers into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant status (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Strong analytical skills and experience with financial models and large datasets.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Proactive, inquisitive approach and a genuine interest in improving business performance.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely management information and KPI reporting for key stakeholders.
• Analyse monthly overheads against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards and forecasting models.
• Support month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide actionable financial analysis to influence business decisions.
