Job summary

Cornerstone is hiring a Commercial Finance Analyst in Berkshire. This hybrid role, three days a week in Theale, supports overheads planning and reporting.

You will provide data-driven insights, performance tracking and timely management information to help optimise costs and drive decision-making. You will work with the Finance Manager to review spending, develop forecasting models and enhance dashboards using Power BI, delivering accurate month-end close activities and collaborating with

Qualifications

• Part qualified or newly qualified accountant with strong financial acumen.
• Excellent analytical capability and robust financial modelling skills.
• Experience with Power BI or data visualisation tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, insightful reporting for stakeholders.
• Analyse overhead performance, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Enhance reporting, dashboards and KPIs to stay aligned with objectives.
• Improve speed and accuracy of reporting using Power BI.
• Assist month-end close activities including journals and accruals.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and maintain controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build commercial insight.
• Support annual budget and in-year forecasting cycles.
• Develop forecasting and budget models that are robust and clear.
