Job summary

Otto James Consulting is supporting a Cheshire based organisation in the search for a talented Commercial Finance Analyst. This role will see the successful candidate work closely with the Senior Management Team to provide clarity on business performance and drive strategic direction.

You will deliver reporting packs and performance management reports to senior stakeholders up to Board level, using data interrogation techniques to influence outcomes and frame key messages succinctly.

Qualifications

CIMA / ACA / ACCA Qualified.
Advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel).
Strong modelling skills.
Demonstrable track record of commercial finance experience in a growing organisation.
Proven ability to interpret financial information and present findings clearly.
Excellent communication (oral and written).
Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly revenue and WIP reporting with understanding of variances.
Scenario modelling for growth plans and investments.
Provide commercial support for budgeting and reforecasting.
Improve finance processes and broaden data sources for reporting.
Collaborate with SLT to drive cross-business interaction and provide ad hoc analysis.
Improve visibility of revenue streams and promote cross selling.
Develop KPIs and performance targets with line managers.
Ensure accuracy of revenue reports, budgets, forecasts, and dashboards.
