Job summary

Cadent Gas Ltd is seeking a Commercial Specialist to join our Commercial team. You will drive commercial performance, cost control and contract management across Cadent's operational activities, working closely with operations and suppliers to ensure value for money and compliant delivery.

You will analyse costs, challenge submissions and influence business decisions, contributing to efficient project delivery and strong governance across NEC, Term and framework contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience managing NEC, Term and framework contracts with governance and value for money.
• Strong cost management: forecasting, reporting, estimating and budgeting.
• Stakeholder management with contractors, suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost control, forecasting and reporting across a diverse portfolio of operational activities.
• Challenge contractor submissions and claims to protect commercial interests.
• Ensure value for money through benchmarking, cost control and governance.
