Cadent Gas is seeking a Commercial Specialist to drive commercial performance across operational activities, manage costs and contract governance, and challenge submissions. The role partners with operations and suppliers to deliver value for money on complex projects.

You'll review contractor claims, forecast costs, and support procurement with robust commercial controls, ensuring compliance and alignment with regulatory objectives. Hybrid working includes three days in-office.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in a commercial discipline.
• Strong commercial/contract management experience.
• Good understanding of operational delivery and engineering activities on gas network works.

Responsabilités

• Drive commercial performance, cost control and forecasting across operational activities.
• Challenge contractor submissions, claims and pricing proposals with commercial judgement.
• Maintain governance, benchmarking and data quality for cost control and value for money.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal teams to meet regulatory objectives.
