Severn Trent Services in Coventry is recruiting a Commercial Contracts Specialist on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will provide commercial advice across our contracts, including the MoD Aquatrine project, and lead negotiations to secure favourable terms.

You should be a seasoned contracts/Commercial Manager with experience in water or utilities, familiar with NEC3/4, able to manage risks, liaise with Legal, Finance and Supply Chain, and travel as required; a UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced Contract/Commercial Manager with water/utilities sector exposure.
• Familiar with commercial Terms and Conditions and standard forms of contract.
• Practical experience in getting projects into contract and managing commercial risk.
• Excellent communication across varied audiences; strong business acumen.

Responsabilités

• Review terms & tender documents to identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations for favourable terms.
• Ensure obligations are understood and contract compliance is maintained.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and align terms with supply contracts.
• Liaise with Legal, Insurance, Service Delivery, Engineering & Finance.
