Job summary

Severn Trent Services is seeking a Commercial Contracts Specialist to provide commercial advice across contracts, including the MoD Aquatrine project, and to champion best practice and risk management.

You’ll review terms, lead negotiations, and coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure compliant, timely contract delivery. A professional qualification (MRICS/MICE/CIPS) is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial and contract risk across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret terms and negotiate favourable terms.
• Strong communications to support project delivery and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review customer terms and tender documents for new opportunities and lead negotiations.
• Ensure all parties understand obligations and responsibilities.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and align terms with supply contracts.
• Represent STS in commercial meetings with key clients like MoD.
• Support project onboarding into contract and ongoing contract management.
