Job summary

Global Relay seeks a Principal Cyber Security Architect to design and evolve security architecture across cloud, infrastructure, and data domains. You will drive secure-by-design decisions, partner with Engineering, Product and Security teams, and embed Zero Trust principles while reducing risk and enabling scalable growth.

You will mentor teams, shape architecture standards, and contribute to the technology roadmap with hands-on assessments, threat modeling, and effective security controls

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in Cyber Security, incl.Security Architect/Principal Engineer roles.
• Experience designing security architectures across cloud, network, app, and data domains.
• Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into security controls.
• Experience with threat modeling, security reviews, and secure design assessments.
• Familiar with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, SOC 2, and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of Global Relay's security architecture, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Establish enterprise security architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and design assessments for major initiatives.
• Develop and execute security technology roadmap and PoC testing of new technologies.
• Define integration patterns between SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, vulnerability management, and cloud security.
