Job summary

PSI CRO is seeking an experienced Project Finance Manager in the United Kingdom to lead budgeting for clinical projects, negotiate budgets, and support bids and contract management. You will manage study budgets, prepare accruals and invoices, and develop sponsor agreements and payment schedules.

You will also oversee timesheet systems, ensure accurate cost reporting, and collaborate with sponsors and internal departments to deliver timely, precise financial information.

Qualifications

• College or university degree in Finance/Economics
• At least 3 years' experience in project budgeting and financial analysis in a CRO setting
• CEFR C1 level in English
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, advanced use of MS Excel
• Strong analytical, communication/negotiation, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to train others
• Ability to communicate with all involved departments and sponsors
• Ability to produce accurate and timely information/reports
• Ability to work under pressure and to perform multi-task activities

Responsibilities

• Development of study budget (prep budgets for bids and change orders)
• Management of study budget throughout project duration (setup/maintenance of finance data, accrual reports, invoices)
• Development of Sponsor Contract (agreements, change orders, payment schedules)
• Timesheet system management (setup/maintenance, reconciliations of actual vs budget costs)
