Qualifications

• Previous experience in a client-facing role, ideally in account management or customer service.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries, requests and account activities.
• Understand client requirements and ensure orders are processed accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Liaise with internal teams to coordinate, schedule and prioritise customer orders.
• Identify opportunities to develop accounts and improve customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account activity, performance and progress against agreed targets.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
• Prepare regular performance reports and monitor client stock levels.
• Organise and attend internal meetings and client reviews.
• Maintain accurate account records and ensure procedures are followed.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer service and operational efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments to deliver excellent outcomes for clients.
