Job summary

SF Technology Partners has been appointed to source a Chief Information Security Officer for a highly successful, fast-growing technology and services business. This is a senior leadership role within an organisation investing in its digital products and wider operating capability, with security and data protection as strategic priorities.

The CISO will define and lead the security strategy across cloud environments, product security, APIs and integrations, while collaborating with technology,

Qualifications

• Strong cloud security experience.
• Product/software and application security.
• Broader security maturity frameworks.
• Data protection / DPO experience.
• Experience within large scale complex enterprise clients.
• Credibility to engage with enterprise customers and their security leadership.
• Experience building or scaling security capability.
• Pragmatic, commercial approach balancing security, technology and growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the organisation's cyber and information security strategy and roadmap.
• Security leadership across cloud-hosted products and cloud environments.
• Product and application security, secure development, APIs and integrations; embed security by design with tech, architecture and product teams.
• Act as senior security contact for major enterprise customers and their security teams.
• Data protection and DPO responsibility.
• Develop security maturity using major recognised frameworks.
• Oversight of third-party and outsourced security/SOC capability.
• Support the organisation as it enters new markets and scales; provide security, risk and investment reporting to execs and board.
