Job summary

A Warrington-based, rapidly expanding business services group is seeking a Chief Finance Officer to lead strategic finance, governance, reporting, and performance across six UK subsidiaries. You will partner with the executive team to shape the financial trajectory and support growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a fully qualified ACA with Big 4 experience, capable of influencing at board level and driving change.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA with Big 4 background.
• Experience as CFO or Finance Director at board level.
• Commercial acumen with track record of growth and strategic change.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic finance leader and trusted partner to the executive team.
• Own financial strategy, governance, reporting, and performance across six UK subsidiaries.
• Lead the finance function (team of four) with robust controls and governance.
• Develop and deliver the financial strategy to support organic and acquisitive growth.
• Provide insightful analysis to support decision making and manage budgeting and cash flow.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance and audits; drive process improvements.
• Build relationships with banks, advisers and external auditors; support acquisitions.
