Job summary

The Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional Chief Finance Officer to join our Executive Leadership Team and shape the financial future of a growing family of schools. As CFO, you will be a trusted adviser to the CEO and Trustees, leading the financial and stewardship strategy, strengthening resilience and ensuring resources deliver the greatest possible impact for children.

Qualifications

• A recognised professional accountancy qualification and current professional membership.
• CIPFA Level 7 qualification preferred for larger trusts.
• Significant senior financial leadership experience in a large, complex, multi-site organisation.
• Strong expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, risk, audit and governance.
• Ability to provide clear, independent advice and develop high-performing teams.
• Commitment to public service and to the Trust's Christian values.
