A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Category Manager to drive procurement activities. This role is based in the West Midlands and offers a competitive salary of 65,000 GBP for a 6-month FTC. Qualifications

• Strong commercial and business awareness.

• Good knowledge of PCR 2015 and PA 23.
• Ability to evaluate suppliers and tender responses.
• Varied category management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activity to maximize savings and value.
• Lead the end-to-end procurement process including market analysis.
• Develop and implement procurement category strategies.
• Review supplier spend data to identify opportunities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
