Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Category Manager to lead strategy and financial performance for assigned categories. You will drive assortment, pricing, and promotions, coordinating with Merchandising Planning, Merchandise Operations, Procurement, Distribution, QA, Marketing and regional leadership.

You will analyze category trends, collaborate with suppliers on new items and exclusive programs, and ensure effective planograms and pricing tactics to sustain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong collaboration across geographies to drive results.
• Ability to translate data into actionable category strategies.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for financial performance of assigned category through pre-season strategy and planning.
• Develops category strategy, assortment plan and pricing tactics.
• Collaborates with suppliers and internal teams to drive item development and planogram execution.
• Analyzes category performance, trends and competitive pricing.
• Leads negotiations leveraging data-driven insights.
