Job summary

Gigaclear plc is seeking a Procurement Manager to develop and implement strategies for Direct and Indirect spend. This hybrid role involves 1-2 days per week at our Abingdon Head Office while leading tenders and driving ESG-focused supplier relationships.

You will mentor a team, manage end-to-end tenders, and collaborate with multiple departments to deliver cost savings and value. CIPS Level 4 or current studies are preferred, with Telecoms fibre sector knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience owning and managing tenders end-to-end.
• Strong procurement and category management experience.
• Understanding of ESG / sustainability in supplier selection.
• Willingness to mentor and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for Direct and Indirect spend.
• Run tenders and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Improve performance management frameworks and KPIs.
• Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Facilities, Operations, Customer, Sales.
