We are seeking a Strategic Buyer to join our Global Purchasing team. This role involves managing procurement activities for a key global customer, working closely with sales and project teams to ensure suppliers, contracts, and materials are aligned for successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Managing customer-specific suppliers to ensure capacity, quality, and performance.
• Forecasting and planning supplier capacity in line with project timelines.
• Negotiating framework agreements and project-specific contracts.
• Acting as the main procurement contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supporting supplier development and sustainability targets.
• Optimizing procurement processes and reporting on supply chain and cost-saving goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a commercial purchasing or buyer role.
• A degree in a technical or commercial field is preferred.
• Qualified CIPS or other recognized procurement qualification, or working towards it.
• Proactive, structured working style with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work across functions and cultures confidently and professionally.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 60% of the time.
