Job summary

Eaton Corporation is relocating to a newly constructed Daedalus facility in the UK and seeking a Strategic Buyer – Networks to manage complex procurement across South Molton, Bedhampton and Titchfield. You will balance demand, secure supplier capacity and drive effective procurement strategies with cross‑functional teams.

Qualified candidates will have a degree in a related field, 2+ years in procurement, and a preference for CIPS/APICS; ERP/MRP and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, supply chain, engineering, operations or related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, operations or a combination of these functions.
• Professional procurement qualification (CIPS, APICS) preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Balance demand against supplier capability and capacity across multiple sites.
• Procure parts and services with complex or custom requirements.
• Manage purchase orders and supplier commitments, including expediting and recovery activity.
• Lead material forecast collaboration with suppliers and secure capacity commitments.
• Source and develop suppliers, evaluate proposals and negotiate terms and long‑term agreements.
• Coordinate supplier transitions and governance processes to protect supply continuity.
• Travel approximately 30% to suppliers and Eaton facilities.
• Provide training and coaching to buyers and colleagues on regional processes.
