Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Strategic Buyer - Networks based in South Molton, UK, to manage complex procurement across South Molton, Bedhampton and Titchfield. You will balance demand with supplier capacity, lead negotiations, and coordinate across site teams to ensure continuity of supply and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong ERP/MRP skills, cross-functional collaboration, and travel ~30% to supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, supply chain, engineering, operations or related discipline.
• Minimum two years of procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering or operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Balance demand against supplier capability and capacity across multiple sites.
• Procure parts and services with complex requirements meeting quality, delivery and compliance standards.
• Manage purchase orders and supplier commitments, including expediting and recovery activities.
• Lead material forecast collaboration with suppliers and secure capacity commitments.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and long-term agreements with suppliers.
• Coordinate supplier transitions, gate reviews and ramp‑up/ramp‑down activities.
• Ensure engineering specs and purchasing requirements are aligned and communicated.
