Job summary

Williams Manufacturing in the United Kingdom seeks a Business Unit Director to lead a high-potential unit within a well-established manufacturing group. You will have full P&L responsibility, manage 6/7 direct reports, and drive sales, product management, marketing and operations.

You should bring a proven track record in sales leadership, key account management, and experience with builders’ merchants or the plumbing industry.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales and key account management.
• Experience leading a sales team and in specification sales.
• Experience partnering with builders’ merchants or within the plumbing industry.
• Full P&L responsibility in previous roles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships at director level to drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day Operations Management of a successful Business Unit.
• Develop and implement Sales Strategy.
• Oversee Marketing and Product Management including NPI.
• Manage 6/7 direct reports with full P&L responsibility.
• Work cross-functionally with senior management across the Group.
• Lead key account management and nurture ~10 major client relationships.
• Drive profitability and ongoing business growth.
• Collaborate to shape the future direction of the business unit.
