Job summary

Alpha Platform, part of State Street, is seeking an experienced risk manager to join the Business Risk Management (BRM) team. This role operates in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment with strong technology risk and audit expertise valued.

You will support governance, oversight, and management of business risks in line with the firm’s risk excellence objectives, partnering with stakeholders to improve risk maturity across processes and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
• Proficiency in risk management.
• Knowledge of COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO.
• Experience with Microsoft tools, Archer, Open Pages, Tableau, and SharePoint.
• Preferred certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess risks and controls across business and technology processes.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness through periodic reviews.
• Identify and remediate control issues with root-cause analysis and remediation plans.
• Advise on risk and control design during new tech introductions.
• Support risk programs including reviews, reporting, governance, and incident management.
• Coordinate internal and external reviews, including audits and regulatory examinations.
