Bimplus in Glasgow, Scotland, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with civil engineering and design background to join its Pre-Construction team. You will build strong client relationships, identify opportunities, and advance them through to secured work.

This role involves travel across Scotland and the wider UK for client meetings and industry events, collaborating with pre-construction, commercial, design and operations teams to shape bids and win major infrastructure

Qualifications

• Proven BD role within the construction industry.
• Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project lifecycle.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and develop them to secured outcomes.
• Work with clients and internal teams to define requirements.
• Lead early-stage engagements and assist bid teams.
• Travel across Scotland and UK for client meetings.
