Job summary

Places for People, the UK’s leading Social Enterprise, is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to drive change across complex projects. You will identify business needs, define requirements and suggest practical, value-driven solutions for stakeholders in both business and IT domains.

You’ll lead workshops, map processes, and ensure documentation and governance are aligned with project objectives. A relevant bachelor’s degree and strong analytical skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering business change, process improvement, or transformation projects in a commercial environment.
• Experience as a Business Analyst.
• Ability to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into practical improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
• Experience supporting technology-enabled change initiatives.
• Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive efficiencies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support large and complex change initiatives by identifying business needs, defining requirements and recommending practical solutions.
• Lead workshops and discussions, develop stakeholder communication plans and help teams understand the impact of proposed changes.
• Model and improve business processes, assess improvements against agreed performance measures and support the resolution of conflicting requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation covering requirements, processes, change requests, objectives and agreed actions.
