Job summary

Apple Technical Recruitment (UK) is seeking a Bid Writer for a permanent role in Norwich. You will join the Pre-Construction team of a privately owned Main Contractor with projects ranging £5m-£30m, focusing on single stage tenders and frameworks.

The role involves drafting, reviewing and tailoring bid documentation, collaborating with estimators and design managers, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and branding.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project packages.
• 5+ years of Bid Writer experience preferred in construction bids.
• Experience on bids for construction companies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of construction management processes and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Formulate bid plans, win themes and client-tailored strategies before drafting responses.
• Research market trends and competitor landscapes to inform win strategy.
• Draft, edit and proofread bid responses for clarity and value messaging.
