Main Purpose of the Role

Lead and oversee the end-to-end bid process, acting as a key contact for Unipart Rail bids. Deliver strategic bids through high-quality proposals to meet business growth and profitability targets.

Management & Advisory

Manage one or more direct reports. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions to meet deadlines. Coach teams in bid processes to ensure compliance.

Skills & Analysis

Require excellent customer and market knowledge, bid writing skills, and understanding of bidding procedures and commercial terms. Work proactively, using analytical skills to draw conclusions and make recommendations.

Work Environment

Expect fluctuating workload with high-pressure periods due to deadlines. Attention to detail is critical. Some travel and out-of-hours work may be required.

Qualifications & Education

• Mathematics and English GCSE or equivalent
• Professional qualification such as APMP or Project Management qualification

Experience & Proven Ability

• Strong communication and presentation skills
