Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks a Head of Major Bids to lead high-value, high-complexity bids across Energy & Natural Resources. You will oversee multimillion-pound bid responses, ensuring high-quality submissions and strategic win themes.

This senior role drives bid governance, coordinates with UK Head of Major Bids and client leads, and shapes pricing and commercial strategy for major energy projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and securing major bids/proposals in energy/natural resources or related sectors.
• Strong stakeholder management and senior-level credibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication translating technical capability into client narrative.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bid management from qualification to submission.
• Own bid strategy and win themes with senior stakeholders.
• Manage bid governance, timelines, and QA to meet client requirements.
• Coach multidisciplinary bid teams to produce persuasive submissions.
• Improve bid content, templates and case studies for Energy & Natural Resources.
• Lead post-bid debriefs and feed insights into sector strategy.
• Support pricing and commercial strategy discussions with leads.
• Represent Turner & Townsend in client-facing presentations and pitches.
• Maintain pipeline view of opportunities with business development.
