Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager in Bath to drive growth across environmental and construction sectors. You will build new client relationships, identify commercial opportunities and work with contractors, developers, consultants and public-sector clients to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven business development or technical sales experience.
• Background within environmental, construction, civil engineering, waste or related industries.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and motivation to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, consultants and public-sector clients.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Promote specialist environmental and construction services.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to develop tailored client solutions.
• Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract award.
