Job summary

Elexon is seeking a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Manager to own and drive the organisation's BC/DR framework in a hybrid London setting. You will coordinate recovery planning, testing, and supplier readiness to ensure critical services survive and recover from disruption.

You will lead recovery exercises, manage cross-team and supplier interactions, and report progress to senior stakeholders. The role requires strong BC/DR expertise, ITSM understanding, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Business Continuity, IT Service Continuity or Disaster Recovery management within a complex tech environment.
• Strong understanding of the disaster recovery lifecycle including planning, invocation, restoration and stand-down.
• Experience managing recovery plans, service dependencies and RTOs.
• Proven experience coordinating BC/DR exercises and recovery testing.
• Experience in multi-supplier environments and SIAM governance.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve Elexon’s BC/DR framework, plans and procedures.
• Coordinate annual BC/DR testing and exercise programme with internal teams and suppliers.
• Plan and facilitate recovery exercises, measuring performance against objectives.
• Coordinate disaster recovery invocation with decision-makers and Major Incident Management.
• Build relationships with technology suppliers and drive assurance reporting on recovery readiness.
