DXC Technology is seeking a BCDR & Safety Manager based in Hampshire, onsite five days a week. The role focuses on business continuity, disaster recovery and resilience across IT services, coordinating BIA, recovery exercises and assurance activities.

You will contribute to safety, environmental management, and governance across projects and customer engagements. The successful candidate will lead documentation, testing, and reporting, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory

Qualificações

• Experience in business continuity, disaster recovery or resilience in managed services, IT outsourcing, defence or critical infrastructure.
• Ability to coordinate recovery exercises and document outcomes and lessons learned.
• Knowledge of BIA, RTOs, RPOs and resilience risks.
• Ability to coordinate across technology towers and dependencies.
• Experience with resilience governance and ITIL practices, especially Change Enablement, Incident, Problem and Configuration Management.
• Experience in safety/environmental management within IT services or critical infrastructure.
• Experience maintaining safety documentation, SDS and safety case evidence.
• Experience supporting environmental sustainability plans and targets.
• Understanding of safety and environmental obligations with audits and corrective actions.
• Strong stakeholder management and governance reporting skills.
• Clear written communication and controlled documentation practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain BCPs/DRPs, runbooks and recovery procedures with stakeholders.
• Coordinate BIA activities to identify critical services and inform recovery strategies.
• Maintain BCDR programme and conduct recovery exercises and assurance activities.
• Oversee recovery readiness including backup, replication and secure restoration after incidents.
• Coordinate recovery exercises across technology towers and dependencies.
• Define exercise objectives, outcomes and remediation actions tracked to completion.
• Review service changes for BCDR impact and update tests accordingly.
• Coordinate BCDR communications during exercises and disruptions with stakeholders.
• Maintain safety, environmental and sustainability documentation per regulatory and contractual needs.
• Provide evidence to support safety case development and assurance reviews.
